Oliver Grimm was Germany's favorite child star for more than a decade, and made some 17 movies between 1952 and 1963. Son of director Hans Grimm and actress Hansi Wendler.

It was his role in Wenn der Vater mit dem Sohne (1955) that made him a big star (he steals the scenes from the adult actors). Oliver may best be remembered by Americans for the many roles he played for Walt Disney in the 60's on the television show The Wonderful World of Color. To appreciate his acting talent you need to see him in the 1962 British film Reach for Glory.

For handsome Oliver it was all over in 1963 when he was 14-years-of-age. Never reaching this grade of popularity again, he has worked as a voice actor since the 1970s and provided the voice of Kimba the young lion in the German animated series "Janguru taitei" (1965-1967). In 2000 Oliver Grimm returned to the big screen - after 38 years - in the German movie ?Schule?
