Memento Mori Street Kid |
Image Gallery Description Jorge Sanz stars as a free-spirited boy of roughly eleven years growing up in pre-war Spain who falls in love with Valentina (Maria Rubio), the daughter of his neighbor. He is so focused on the relationship that he neglects his homework and family. Despite his father's switch, his passion goes unabated, and no matter how the family keeps them separated the two young lovers seem to get together often. A guest appearance by Anthony Quinn as the local priest, and father figure to the boy, lifts this little film above the average. A nicely done tale of first love; highly recommended! You can also see Jorge in La Leyenda del Tambor. Notes The print has some brief tracking glitches. Cast & Crew |
