Episode 1, Welcome Neighbor:
It's not one of Tom Sawyer's better days. Aunt Polly catches him stealing jam so he plays hookey to swim with his firend Huck, gets in a
fight with the new neighbors boy and boasts he'll win a Bible before his half-brother Sid by memorizing 2000 verses. When Sid betrays
Tom about playing hookey and the fight, Tom has to face Aunt Polly's wrath. After a scrubbing in the tub by Aunt polly Tom is ordered to
white wash the fence.
Episode 2, Love in Bloom:
Tom turns white washing the fence to his advantage by tricking the town boys into doing his work for him and paying him in Bible
tickets. The fact that he is one ticket short is forgotten when he see Becky Thatcher. His showing off to Becky almost makes him lose
the Bible challenge until Huck steps in to help.
Episode 3, The Engagement:
Tom is late to school after losing a tooth. His punishment is to sit with the girls and moves next to Becky. He professes his love and
arranges to meet her in the woods. They become 'engaged', but it turns out to be short-lived and Tom is heart-broken.
Episode 4, Mystery at Midnight:
Tom is so in the dumps over Becky that Aunt Polly gives him her dreaded 'spring Tonic.' He meets Huck and the slave Jim to discuss how
to get rid of warts so they decide to meet at midnight in the graveyard. There they witness the murder of Dr. Robinson by Indian Joe.
They swear a blood oath never to tell what they saw, but they are horrified the next day when an innocent man is arrestd for the
murder.
Episode 5, The Pirates:
Tom meets Joe Harper and they runaway to become pirates. Huck joins them, but Tom is caught raiding the supply shed and he narrowly
gets away. On the mississippi they abandon their leaky skiff and make for the uninhabited island where they set-up camp.
Episode 6, How Nice to be Missed:
While Tom, Huck and Joe enjoy the island Aunt Polly realizes that they may have run away. Constable Mueller organizes a search and the
boys see the search ferry. A small cannon is being fired, a superstition that any bodies in the river will float to the surface. The
boys realize that they are believed to be drowned. That night Tom swims to ashore to make things right.
Episode 7, Such a Lovely Funeral:
Tom sneaks home and hears Aunt Polly crying over his loss. He learns that a memorial service is planned for Sunday. With Huck and Joe
they go the the church and find that the whole town has gatherd for the service.
